BAD GUY: The First Predator

RATING: It wouldn't have been appropiate to rate Predator 2 and not rate the first one. Why did it get such a low score? Arnold's character Dutch didn't get his justice for his men. He defeated the Predator true but in the end, the alien had the last laugh. He even laughed the whole time before his bomb took him out.
Dutch could have remained camouflaged in mud and eventually been saved, w/o fighting the Predator. Instead he stayed and did fight for the "honor" of his men...and against all odds..won. But not through weaponry, but rather wit. It's the story of good versus evil. Predator may have had the last laugh, thinking he would take Dutch with him, and still the indestructible Predator was outwitted. We got to see Arnold w/o a shirt and the movie didn't go straight to video! I'd give it at least a 9! (and a box of red licorice)
